Presenting The Coalmaster 2000 ®

What does it Do?
This device distills small amounts of useful gas and oil from common coal.

Why the hell would you want to do that?
There is a lot more coal on this planet that there is oil, especially in the United States.
(Remember the OPEC-induced energy crises in 1973 and 1976?)

How does it work?
Basically, the principle involved here is destructive distillation. Certain compounds are trapped inside the coal, and they are released by heating. The compounds are then collected for use. This sticky, reddish-brown substance collected is called Primary Tar and it is very useful.

What do you do with this stuff?
Anything that you can make from crude oil, you can make from primary tar (coal distillate). These products include gasoline, jet fuel, natural gas, and plastics.

Where did Dangerous Labs get this idea?
We do a lot of reading here at DLI, and we came across this book called:

The Conversion of Coal into Oils

by Dr. Franz Fischer
